Aubrey Plaza Rewatches Parks & Rec, White Lotus, Ingrid Goes West & More

Hey there! I recently had the pleasure of rewatching some of my favorite shows and movies, and I wanted to share my thoughts with you. So, let’s dive in!

First up, Parks & Recreation. This show is just pure gold. The characters are so loveable and relatable, and the humor is spot-on. I especially love Aubrey Plaza’s character, April. She’s sassy, confident, and always up for a good time. Watching her interact with the rest of the cast is a joy. And let’s not forget about Tom Haverford and hisMixin’ It Up dance. It never fails to make me laugh.

Next, The White Lotus. This show is a true masterpiece. The setting is beautiful, the characters are complex, and the story is both intriguing and suspenseful. Aubrey Plaza’s performance as Harper is truly remarkable. She brings a certain vulnerability and charm to the character that makes you root for her even when she makes some questionable decisions. And that ending? Whew, it’s a doozy.

Now, Ingrid Goes West. This movie is a bit of a departure from the others, but it’s still great. Aubrey Plaza plays the title character, Ingrid, a woman who becomes obsessed with a social media influencer and moves to Los Angeles to be closer to her. The movie does a great job of exploring the dangers of social media and how it can our perception of reality. Plaza’s performance is once again excellent, and she really sells the character’s descent into madness.

But it’s not all TV shows and movies for Aubrey Plaza. She’s also done some great work in the world of comedy. I recently watched her perform stand-up, and she was hilarious. Her delivery is deadpan, but there’s a certain wit and charm to her humor that makes it really engaging. And let’s not forget about her appearances on late-night shows like Jimmy Kimmel and Seth Meyers. She always brings the laughs.

All in all, rewatching these shows and movies with Aubrey Plaza has been a great experience. It’s reminded me of why I love her as an actress and how talented she is. Whether she’s playing a sassy government employee, a socially awkward obsessed fan, or a hilarious stand-up comic, she always brings her A-game. I can’t wait to see what she does next.

That’s it for now. Thanks for reading, and I’ll see you in the next blog post!

Best regards,
